Beijing Grass / Leng Chu - Murdannia loriformis

Beijing Grass is a grass like low growing plant that functions well as a border or groundcover plant in a food forest- appreciates a wide array of light conditons if acclimated and rich moist soil. In the same family as spiderworts- has a handful of uses in Chinese traditional medicine. Can be eaten raw or cooked. Has small white flowers at different times of the year.
