Kinh Gioi / Vietnamese Lemon Balm - Elsholtzia ciliata

Kinh Gioi is a small short term perennial shrubby herb utilized for its leaves as a culinary and occasionally as a tea and medicinal herb. 

With a taste and scent similar to mint combined with lemon balm, leaves of this species is served with other herbs for soup garnish and sometimes grilled food. We personally like it as a tea herb as it gives a rich bright lemony mint flavor to herbal tea blends. 

Plants for sale are grown in 3.5 inch square pots.
