Sissoo/Brazilian Spinach Alternanthera sissoo - 2 Varieties!

Sissoo "spinach" is one of our favorite perennial edible greens, can be eaten raw in small quantities (has oxilates like real spinach) or can be steamed, sauteed or added to any dish where a fresh flavored leafy green is needed. We like it in hearty soups and southeast asian style curries. 

Growth habit is spreading and is well suited as a dappled shade food forest ground cover or edge plant- will grow well in full sun as long as soil moisture is maintained. 

2 growth habit styles available - the common curly leaf and the straight or long leaf variety. Appearance is the only difference.
