Suriname Spinach - Talinum triangulare

Other names for this perennial leafy green species is Waterleaf, Florida spinach or Philipine spinach. A low growing clumping species with small pink/purple ornamental flowers, the leaves can be eaten raw or cooked. We have found this to be the most similar to "regular" spinach. Performs well in moist but well draining soils in dappled shade to full sun.
